Brewing this today
Re: Brewing this today
Did a user upper today!
So damn rusty though, a catalogue of errors! I thought the mash had stuck, added a light spray malt to compensate, oh no….so added more hops to compensate, well 1045og became 1056 and I have yet to work out what chucking all the hops in means…who cares! It’s beer and it was fun!
By the way…‘chevalier heritage malt’ what’s that then?!

Chevalier was "the" malt to use from the early 1800s to the early 1900s. Crisp Malting revived it a few years ago.
I'm just here for the beer.
