and I've just checked with Patsy and yes they are out of stock, it will be up to two weeks afor they get anymore.....

I have just put this brew up in a new thread i can get the taste about right but not the colour to much like straw colour

That's the most important thing! If you want it darker next time, you could add a small amount of black malt, say around 20g, or use the darker coloured crystal malt.

I had a wee sample of mine today and i found the colour to be about spot on. Its a bit young yet to comment on the taste but its good already and hopefully will end up close to the real thing.

with the pellets causing a slow run off, could you break them up first, before adding them. Will this help? or would that defeat the object of it being a pellet.

it's when the pellet breaks up that is the problem, they go into tiny bits which then stick together over important holes.....ooer that sounds rude
