any ideas people? no other of my beers so far has had this, and i used the same method, but it has a faint "plasticy" taste.....any thoughts?

dont know how else to describe it. it has a faint taste of plastic, and not much else...cant believe with using over a kg of ginger and some chilli flakes it is so weak...

hmm...for what its worth have you thought about chucking it and starting afresh? does it taste that bad? you could bottle it and leave it and see how it go's, mean while get on with the new batch.with evething you have learnt form your post's you could make it a right gooden.

neither can I...was good stuff too, used some in some cooking...cant work out what the issue is. ne'er mind
