Tar for that chap, got to get a brew on before flying back to blighty for a fortnight, but its prob gonna be a TTL, but mashed at a higher temp...see how that turns out.

Will try a higher mash tomorrow - 67/68 ish
Recipe will be
Maris Otta 4500g
Crystal 250g
First Gold 6.2% AA 45g 90 mins
Fuggles 3.9% AA 23g 90 mins
First Gold 6.2% AA 20g 1 min
Total IBU's 46, BU:GU 1.04
4.6% abv, instead of the last 5.7% monster brewed last time................. which was very nice though

Just received first parcel of Hops ordered from Barley Bottom for tonights brewing. Must say, having previously used Brupaks / Morris Hanbury hops, Barley Bottoms look far superior - a lot fresher looking, very green - rather than the khaki looking samples found in Brupaks / Morris Hanbury.
High hopes with these quality hops.................. Thanks Paul.
Dry hoping with fuggles? Will try this when tonights brew is kegged in a couple of weeks, but with 1/3 fuggles, 2/3 first gold - total 15gms
