this recipie is based on a yorkshire pale , does this look ok :?: cheers lee

Hiya!

I'd go for a more British / estery yeast like Windsor to play up the British origin a tad. Maybe add a small amount of invert sugar (50-100g), consider maybe some amber malt (50g max), and move the 60m Simcoe addition to 15m. Should be more crossover that way!

I only picked up on it because I always do the same myself. I'm a big fan of both.

Imagine Fullers 1845 or London Porter fermented with the Adnams dual-strain. Oooooh, baby!

Cascade is now know as an American hop and is used beautifully in British beers as well as in American ales like Sierra Nevada...but im almost certain its originally a uk variety that just grows better in th US..You would be on common ground using boat loads of cascade.... :=P
