Thanks for that. I've got the BnW subscriber spreadsheet. I generally make 4% pales finishing at 1.008-10, I'd forgotten about adjusting the FG too, so many variable opportunities.

If we assume for a minute that this reading was taken at mash temperature does this mean at room temperature the reading and therefore real pH of note for us would be 0.2-0.3 higher?SiHoltye wrote:

Do the flaked oats work for whatever recipe no matter how light or dark? So a pale as well as a porter?
