Palmers IPA

Post by Bigster » Wed Jul 05, 2006 11:32 pm

Hopefully will be brewing on saturday morning assuming the temps for the following 4 days look sensible.

This has been requested by a pal who is having a beer festival at his house at the end of August with 6 or so commercial beers and (hopefully!) this one. No pressure then.
Jim - is the JHBF charabang ready for its annual outing

My take on Dave Lines 23L batch and efficiency

Pale Malt 3kg
Crushed roast barley 60g
Water for mash 15l
Irish Moss 5ml
Brewing sugar 460g
Molasses 30g
fuggles 37g
Goldings 70g

Hopefully the revamped 15mm copper manifold will play ball - other wise you may be learning some new words on saturday morning

Hung up and ready to roll at a moments notice - certainly saved the day with the eldridge pope which I am supping right now :beer

But feeling confident with the manifold - cuts every 5mm or so and just over 1/2 way through - if this sticks it must be the crush of my malt
