Brains in cardiff, it used to be one of buckleys but Brains bought them.

Sounds nice but do you think Brains will keep it true to the original or is it the Brains version you are familiar with?

Its the brains version I tasted weather or not its still the same as it was made before They took over Buckley's I couldn't say, still though its nice, tried it for the first time Saturday in the welsh beer festival Even though I live close to the area of Cardiff.

Buckleys recipe Ingredients.(sorry no measures)

Maris Otter
Torrified Wheat
Invert Sugar

Challenger
Fuggles
Goldings

As far as I know the recipe has'nt changed much.

Thanks llannige, I think that it might have changed a bit looking at the colour , its a mahogany colour.

Depends on the invert sugar they used. Some grades are very dark.
