Hi all

Brewed this last night Belgian Wit. the addition of oak husk worked fantastic no stuck mash, really worth it for wheat beer.


22.7 liters O.G. 1.050

Pale malt 2.5Kg
Wheat malt 0.91Kg
Munich malt 0.11Kg
Flaked Rye 1.36Kg
Oats 0.45Kg


Oat husks 0.25Kg


Hops (20 IBU)

Hallertauer 42.53g 60mins

Spice

Fresh orange peel 42g 5 mins

Coriander seed 11g 5 mins

Chamomile flowers 1g 5 mins



Yeast

Thanks, Ob. The story I was told was that they couldn't be sold for hombrew because of food standards regulations but obviously that's not the case.

I dont see why not, its not that uncommon that a dead mouse gets milled along with the grain :wink:
