Hello,

Gonna do this Tuesday, and am looking to add deeper more varied flavoursome and interesting body to my more normal (MO & Cry perhaps some wheat) recipes for Best Bitter. I think I'm happy with what the MO, Wheat, and Choc will do. Questions to other brewers would be what do you think of equal measures of Cry & Caramunich?

25L, 90min Mash @ 67°C, 90min Boil

4.01 kg Maris Otter (5.9 EBC) Grain 83.50 %
0.24 kg Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L (78.8 EBC) Grain 5.00 %
0.24 kg Caramunich Malt (100.0 EBC) Grain 5.00 %
0.24 kg Wheat Malt, Bel (3.9 EBC) Grain 5.00 %
0.07 kg Chocolate Malt (Pale) (500.0 EBC) Grain 1.50 %
45.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [4.60 %] (90 min) Hops 20.4 IBU
65.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [4.60 %] (15 min) Hops 13.6 IBU
15.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [4.60 %] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops -
1 Pkgs Sussex Dual (Brewlab #1004) Yeast-Ale

Didn't have all the Caramunich so half and halfed it with Dia Amber for a more diverse yet grain bill! Changed the name on account of it's varied malts it's now ironically Simple Simon, just like me. :wink:
