Milk Stout

Anyone have a recommended recipe for a Milk Stout?

My Missus used to love a Mackeson and it would get me a few Brownie Points if I could brew a few bottles

Brew a 3%ish stout and add a load of lactose. BTP tells me 500g of Lactose will bring the FG from 1012 to 1017. Seems you might need a fair bit of the stuff

It seems you need between 1010 and 1023 FG for a milk stout.

I've been messing with beer engine to try and work out a mackesons original but everything I try looks like the beer would be awful. Anyone any thoughts on what percentages should be used.
