Root Beer recipe - know one?

Recently my Brother discovered Bundaberg "Root Beer" (Sasparilla) It's really great, quite medicinal in flavour I guess & fairly unique.

on the ingredients it contains:

Sasparilla root
vanilla bean
ginger root
licorice root
+ cane sugar & molasses

Although brewed similarly to a ginger beer it is a <0.5% alcohol soft drink.

Has anybody got any good recipes???
