There's a few old winter beers in Wheelers book, let me know if you want any others, here's the one you named:-
Wadworth's Old Timer
OG 1055
Pale Malt 5350g
Crystal Malt 180g
Invert cane sugar 480g
Fuggles 75g (start of boil)
Irish moss/whirlfloc 1tsp / 1 tab (last 15mins)
Goldings 5g (dry hops in the cask)
Mash liquor 14 litres
Mash temp 65'C
Mash time 2 hours
Boil time 2 hours
Alcohol 6%
FG 1011
Bitterness 28 EBU
Final Volume 23 litres

Time to get writing down all those recipes thenbandit1200s wrote:I found most recipies hard to get hold of until I found the library. They got me a copy of the CAMRA brew british ales in 2 days. Its currently out of print so finding your own can be difficult. It has winter warmers, stouts, pale ales and Timmy Taylors.
