Ridgeway Blue

Post by Garth » Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:59 pm

Ridgeway Blue - Been drinking this in bottles from Tesco for a while now, it is an excellent beer, I find it similar in many respects to Coniston Bluebird which I like a lot too, maybe uses the same hop bill?

Anybody got a recipe for it?

Cheers

haha, cheers BTed, bit of a Dalek nut, sad I know.

anyway, no luck with the Ridgeway recipe and I'm not clever enough to concoct my own, so I ended up doing the Coniston Bluebird clone found on here, which to me tastes very similar.

It's had 10 days in the primary now so will probably bottle it in a week. Had a quick taste while taking a hydro reading and apart from tasting flat (obviously) it was quite clear and it had the very same citrusy hop bite at the end as Bluebird does, that's why I like it, so looks as if it's worked ok.

Give it a blast BT, I'm sure you'll like it.
