Good evening all,
By any chance does anyone have or anyone seen a receipe for a clone of Fullers 1845, I have not tried it personally but I understand it has a very good reputation :P and a colleague of mine has asked me if anyone on the forum could help. Any info/help would be gratefully received as always.
Cheers
Andy

I once brewed the "Ringwood Old Thumper" recipe from Graham Wheeler's book. Now, I don't know how close it is to the real Old Thumper ('cos I've never tried it) but it was remarkably similar to Fullers 1845.

The only difference was that I got a higher efficiency than GW assumed and mine ended up with an OG of 1.068!

I'm very tempted to do it again with Goldings instead of Fuggles and the recipe adjusted to the correct OG - which should make it an nearly exact match for 1845.
