Imperial Russian , Ivan the terrible etc

I need to get some of this kicked off and get some beer in for longer term storage. 2 to 3 gall would be fine.
1100SG or thereabout, black ++ and malty but not cut with hops to excess. 1yr maturation in 1/2 pt bottles.
Any good pointers / recipes to suggest.
