Adding a hint of fruit

Post by grubble88 » Fri Apr 10, 2009 8:49 pm

Hi folks,
Recently attended the Coventry beer festival. Most enjoyable.Amongst the beers on offer was a rhubarb and custard ale.Despite my initial thoughts it was really very good.
So I am thinking of adding a different flavour to my next brew .Has anyone got any recommendations on how to do this.My son says he as heard of people using fruit infusion teabags to add a subtle flavour.
I would be interested to know if anyone as tried this and if so what quantity would be involved.
Many thanks,

I've used orange zest a few times which works really well. 40g per 25L.
