A friend has recently set off to journey to South America and teach kids etc. anyway as long as he is not kiiled/kidnapped/gets a fish up his member, i promised him i would have a brew of this ready for his return (probably foolishly)
Right Does anyone whose brewed Graham's recipe know how long it takes to be "ready" to drink? Also how do you go about making a viable culture from the yeast in the bottle?
Cheers.

Providing he's gone for longer than a month you'll be fine. Regarding your question about getting yeast culturing from bottle conditioned beers, Chris x-1 has posted a link to a youtube video he made doing just that from Worthington White Shield.
Planning - Not for a long while
Fermenting - I'm Done
Bottle Maturing - Hobgoblin, Fullers ESB, American Stout, TOP, Fullers London Porter, Bandini Black IPA
