Munich Malt Advice Please

I'm brewing in the morning and I plan to use a 50/50, Otter/Munich blend as my base malt.

Anyone advise against this ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

12 litre batch (for 10 litres of finished beer)

Fermentables

UK Pale Ale Malt 1.000 kg 39.5 %
UK Munich Malt 1.000 kg 39.5 %
UK Medium Crystal 0.250 kg 9.9 %
UK Torrified Wheat 0.200 kg 7.9 %
UK Roasted Barley 0.015 kg 0.6 %
Dextrose (Dry) 0.065 kg 2.6 %


Hops

NZ Cascade 8.0 % 4 g 4.8 In Mash
Slovenian Bobek 5.2 % 4 g 3.1 In Mash
NZ Cascade 8.0 % 4 g 5.7 90 Min From End
Slovenian Bobek 5.2 % 4 g 3.7 90 Min From End
NZ Cascade 8.0 % 7 g 6.5 20 Min From End
Slovenian Bobek 5.2 % 7 g 4.2 20 Min From End
NZ Cascade 8.0 % 20 g 0.0 At turn off
Slovenian Bobek 5.2 % 20 g 0.0 At turn off

No, I bet that will taste fantastic. It will give a nice rich base to the beer.

I would skip the mash hopping personally..... where did you get the recipe from ?

I cobbled it together myself.

BeerAlchemy gave me the IBU's from the mash hops.

I'm using mash hops as FWH to save some space in the boiler, as I'm chucking a ton of hops in at flameout.

Munich is great, I recently did an all Munich IPA, but its dose have a lower distatic power so its not great with a lot of adjutants

Excellent.

So it wont be over-cloyingly malty ?

The pale should cover what little adjuncts I've included then you reckon ?

St Austell's Admirals Ale is 100% munich malt so you can use as much as you like.

At 50:50 pale much there should be enough
