I'm trying to clear out some of the bits of hops that I have kicking about and wanted to use up some cascade (70g left), amarillo (24g left) and styrians (30g left).
I made an all pale amarillo beer with 56 IBUs at 5% and enjoyed that so I was torn between using just amarillo and cascade or adding the styrians as well.
I was thinking about something like
4kg MO
30g Black Malt
15g Amarillo 60 min
30g Cascade 60 min
30g Styrians 10 min
9g Amarillo 10 min
And then maybe some Cascade at 0 mins
Any thoughts on the combination ? Am I just trying to get rid of the Styrians and would I be better off sticking to Cascade and Amarillo and using Cascade in place of the Styrians ?

Re: Recipe to use up hops
Cascade and Amarillo are great together. Personally i'd say shove those Styrians in the freezer for another day... Thats my two penneth anyway.
