St. Peters Ruby Ale

Post by Carpking » Wed Dec 30, 2009 4:54 pm

Just looking through the area where the guys are doing the ruby ale kits.... It makes me want to make an all grain version.
I had a go a long time ago, probably about my fifth AG and it wasnt too bad. I really just guessed what was in it. It was something like:

4400g MO
200g Crystal
100g Choc

40g Goldings (90)
20g Goldings (15)

Saltaire brewery yeast.

Any thoughts as to what would make it even closer? Does anyone know whats in the real thing?

Cheers. :D
