Bulldog Strong Ale

Has anyone ever tried/heard of this?
Got the last two bottles from B&M for 69p each and its a nice strong malty brew. Just wondering if anyone knows whats in it?

It's a discount/cheapie store that has its branches in the north. The furthest south they operate is the branch in Market Harborough.

It is exactly that. They sell cheap beers which is where i got the last two bottles of this Bulldog Strong Ale.
So can anyone help me out with a recipe or am i clutching at straws with this beer (i never heard of it before now)

It's an export beer, I've seen it in Belgium years ago and those Google links suggest most of it goes to the Italian market. Maybe they brewed a few hl more than they had orders for so the surplus ends up in places like B&M.

yes I can confirm I've seen this on the shelves of Italian supermarkets, during my xmas holidays, and, about a month earlier, on tap in a pub (together with Newcastle bronw ale :? ). Here's the piccy to prove it

I haven't tried it though. Newcky brown on tap was sweet and weird enough.
