Which hops in Malty Bitter
Re: Which hops in Malty Bitter
All of the everyday English hops go well with malty flavours, Fuggles, Goldings, Challenger. Take your pick. Fuggles especially seems to meld well with malty beers.
About 30 - 40 IBU depending on how bitter you like it.
About half a gram to a gram of late hops with 15 minutes left in the boil and again to steep, again, depending on how hoppy you like it.

Re: Which hops in Malty Bitter
Yeah sorry. I meant half a gram to a gram per L. Hopefully Nobby isn't sitting by his brew kettle measuring out a single hop to throw in.
