Has anyone got a decent clone of PJ; can't get enough of the stuff at the minute?

There are several earlier posts from Scooby, Mauri and others also covering reclaiming SA yeast.

See Floydmeddler's posts viewtopic.php?f=5&t=27597&p=316161&hili ... st#p316161
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31099&p=336479&hili ... st#p336479
Also ChrisM's thread on aroma: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=30851&p=332302&hil ... st#p332302
I have not yet tried this 80gms or so at 80C for 1/2 hour.

I am not quite there yet on the aroma, a freshly poured bottle of the proper stuff has a real "nose"!
Also a bit short on body, I have tried a higher mash temperature but that had little effect.
My latest attempt also has a bit of Carapils, lager malt and a little bit of crystal.
This is in cold maruration at the mo but tasted very promising the other day!
I have also got some Cascade hop oil from Auz to play with.
One thing is for sure - it will go pretty quick if you let anyone near it!

Ignore the stuff about the yeast losing effect, I tracked that problem done to something else.
I actually made 15 different brews from the one culture, the figure of seven is one after the other.

15g Willamette @6.7% 5ibu 15min
30g Cascade @7.6% 8ibu 10min
10g Willamette @6.7% 2ibu 10min
10g Cascade @7.6% 1.5ibu 5min
15g Cascade @7.6% at boiler off but wait 20min before start cooling.
OG 1050 FG 1012 this is for 25L.
I used some Munich for colour as first try was to light.
The yeast went mad and took 12 days before it stopped.
