Hi,
We are about to launch a great new service on TheThriftyShopper.co.uk which we have been developing and writing for the last three months.
We are launching our Recipe Vault which will allow customers to create a recipe on our site. You can select a name, type, visual colour, ABV, Biterness, Ingredients, Method etc.
You can then store your recipies and, when ready to brew, add the ingredients to your basket with one click.
All recipes in the system will then be made available for others to search via a number of categories, such as style, colour, type etc. You can then add the recipe to your own recipe list and buy it with one click.
You don't have to buy anything to use the service but its features are designed to make shopping with us all the easier.
The system is ready to go into test and will soon be available for use.
I am posting this in advance as I am looking for three volunteers to help with the end user testing and to provide feedback and comments so that we provide a service that works in the real world for real brewers.
I am essentially looking for experienced brewers who brew regularly in one or all of the following categories:
1. Kit (Modified as opposed to straight standard kit brewing)
2. Extract
3. Grain
If you are interested in helping shape what should be an excellent service please let me know.
If you don't have the time to help with testing, I'd be delighted to hear your wishes for and thoughts on such a service.
Thanks for your time in advance.

New Recipe Database Service
Re: New Recipe Database Service
I think it's a great idea.
I'll happily help with the all grain bit, but you'll probably find others with more experience than me.

Hi,
I'd be happy to help out, although most of my experience lies in the modified kits/extract area of brewing - although I am dabbling in AG at the mo wioth plans to make this my primary brewing method...

I'd be happy to help out with kit/extract as this is where my experience lies at the moment.
