Obergäriges Rauchbier

OK, I've got 3kg of smoked malt and need to bump it up a bit to get a decent gravity.

So I am thinking of:

3kg Rauchmalz
1kg pale ale malt
250g Caramünch
200g amber malt

I'm not sure about the amber malt. Will it overpower the smoke?

Can't imagine that 200g of amber would make that much difference. If anything it would add a bit of "munich-ness" to the pale malt if you get what I mean. Obergariges? You're not using a lager yeast then?

Nope, can't lager it, I don't have a fridge. Well, obviously I have a fridge, but I don't have a spare one to ferment beer in.

You don't think amber and caramünch will be too caramelly then? I'm hoping the amber is more sort of toasty-biscuity.
