What hops work well with ginger root?

Planning next wknds brew - An all grain ginger ale. Any ideas what hops to use? Was thinking Bobek but changed my mind.

Might be worth scouring recipes for similar brews e.g. Ginger Marble, see what they use and see if you could pick out the hop flavour...

Cheers. Maybe Bobek is the right one then. Will bitter with First Gold I think...

I think it's about trial and error with herbs, Ginger's a hard one to get right (IMO)....there's no reason why Bobek shouldn't work, alternatively you could go down a spicier route with Challenger.....Let us know how you get on though.
