Brooklyn Brown Ale
Brooklyn Brown Ale
any ideas? In general I enjoy brooklyn brewery so any thing else they do that someone has cloned I would be interested in!
Re: Brooklyn Brown Ale
Never tasted it or brewed it. From their site:
STYLE: American Brown Ale
MALTS: British Two Row, Belgian Aromatic, American Roasted
HOPS: Willamette, Cascade, American Fuggle
ALCOHOL: 5.6% by Volume
OG: 15.5 plato, 1062
A blend of 6 malts, some of them roasted, give this beer its deep russet-brown colour and complex malt flavour, fruity, smooth and rich, with a caramel, chocolate and coffee background. Gernerous late hopping brings forward a nice hop aroma to complete the picture.
A fair bit to work from there.

Re: Brooklyn Brown Ale
I know I have seen a clone recipe for that beer someplace but have not brewed it myself. I will surf through my book and although we are not supposed to post stuff out of published book, maybe at least I can tell you where to look.
Drinking:Saison (in bottles), Belgian Dubbel (in bottles), Oud Bruin (in bottles), Olde Ale (in bottles),
Abbey Triple (in bottles), Munich Helles, Best Bitter (TT Landlord clone), English IPA
Conditioning: Traditional bock bier, CAP
Fermenting: Munich Dunkel
Next up: Bitter (London Pride like), ESB
So many beers to make, so little time (and cold storage space)
