Creamy Hops?

Post by alwilson » Fri Mar 18, 2011 12:45 pm

Morning All,

I was in the Brew Wharf last night, by Borough Market, and was drinking their 'Hop to Tail' a 6.9% Pale, almost an IPA, VERY HOPPY.

Im not particuarly a fan of very hoppy beers (think: trashy blonde, brodies best, etc) but this had a delightful creaminess to it - can anybody hazard a guess at which hops would give off a smooth, creamy hoppyness?

Cheers
Alex

Hmm, well i would say that Bramling Cross adds a certain creaminess. It's also (in my opinion) quite a bland-tasting hop, so i would use it alongside another.

Just a guess really!
