My first stout...advice please
Ok this may be over the top for my first stout, but I don't do things by halves!
Its a chocolate bourbon stout around 6.3%. The twist is I plan to add 200g of cacao nibs that have been soaked in Jim Beam White for 24 hours to my secondary fermenter.
Can people please advise me if I need to up one or lessen any ingrediants.
3560g (62.7%) Maris Otter
300g (5.3%) Chocolate Malt
570g (10%) Roasted Barley
570g (10%) Flaked Barley
340g (6%) Flaked Oats
340g (6%) Torrified Wheat
70g EKG 60 mins
15g EKG 10 mins

Just a thought, I may be wrong( often am) but Kim beam in secondary may stop fermentation?

Secondary (conditioning tank) fermetation has finished in primary! Rob wheat malt @6% in a stout using torri i cant see making much difference! A thousand people have different opinions and tastes, the joy of home brewing is that it's your tastes!
