Hi Guys,

Would any of you have a clone for Boondoggle by ringwood. I love this beer and would like to have a go at making it this weekend if possible.

Thanks

Lee

I would love to brew this. When I speak to people (even licensees) and I ask which one they are getting in, they look at me like I'm stupid, then argue with me that there is only one. The summer ale is my preference over the blonde. The pump badges are almost the same so unless you are used to drinking it you may not even notice the difference. Side by side they are different beers. Unless they changed the recipe and discontinued one of them, or just changed the name and I coincidentally sampled them at the point of change and they were kept differently!

All I know is it has fuggles and first gold in it.

I don't have a boondoggle clone as such. However, I made a caledonian deuchars ipa from graham wheeler's book and the end product reminded me of boondoggle.
PS if you can get on the ringwood brewery tour and ask in advance they will give you some yeast to take with you.

Not a lot to go on, but its a start - Seymour is your man here as he seems to have an fine eye for recipe design on minimal info :) Good luck with the search / brew.
