This is good stuff. Tesco do it for £1.50 if you can't get a recipe.

An old thread, but still unanswered which cannot be tolerated.

Here's the answer Norm gave in another thread:

There is a recipe for McEwans Export in Dave Lines book, the recipe is from 1978.
So you will need to adjust a fair bit, But I thought you might find it a useful starting point.

I would have thought there was some roast barley?

3Kg Pale Malt
500g Flaked Barley
15g Black malt

500g Soft Brown Sugar

60g Hallertau hops
30g hop extract

ABV 3.57
App. Attenuation 65.71%

Grainbill:
74.91% - pale malt
7.68% - no. 1 sugar
3.48% - DCS sugar
11.52% - flaked maize

Mash @ 157º F

Hops:
2.25 oz English & Styrian Goldings
