Hi all, I am interested in dry hopping some of Wheeler's recipes. Today I have just brewed 5 gals of Adnams Southwold Bitter- 3400 pale, 75 chocolate, 470 flaked maize, 32 challenger, 37 fuggles and 15g goldings late hops. Does anyone dry hop, and if so what quantity would you suggest for this recipe?
Wheeler isn't exact about this and suggests 8-10 g one chapter and a "couple of cones" in another! He also suggests that dry hopping can lead to off tastes when the beer ages-is this true?
