hi all have been messing about with the beer engine and came out with this [ galaxy gold ] any thoughts [thanks lee :) ]
grain bill; 23l
marris otter 3.9 kg
caramalt 500 g
hop bill;
galaxy [whole] 17g 60m boil.
galaxy [whole] 15g 10m boil.
galaxy [whole] 10g dry hopped in fv
yeast ; safeale 05
colour ; 11
ebu ; 35
og ;1.042
fg ; 1.010

If this is for 23 ltr then there's not enough hops. Less than 0.5 g/1 ltr dry hops is really homeopatic.

Hi Lee

I'm not speaking from experience, but I have read posts from a few brewers that say Galaxy is not a nice bittering hop at all.

I would also at least double your last 2 additions :wink:
