LACTOSE IN STOUT

Can anyone please help.

Trying the Milk Stout recipe today......have 500g of Lactose Milk Sugar. Question is:

When do you add it???

Any help would be totally appreciated.....

I've just looked at a couple of recipes and they both reckon last 15 mins of boil and a quantity of around 500 g.
