hi all just trying this brew to use up my nelson sauvin
pale malt 3.2 kg
light crystal 150g
challenger 35g @ 60m
nelson 30g @ 15m
nelson 20g @ 0m
nelson 25g dryhop
yeast safe ale 04
any thoughts on how this will turn out cheers lee

Looks sound. Might want to swap S-04 for US-05 though for a cleaner, more neutral fermentation.

cheers ant was trying to stay away from the safeale 05 trying to brew a english ale with a fruity hop finish if that makes sense thanks lee

Just did a brew with lots of Nelson Sauvin and S04. The taste is lovely but I'd say be conservative on the crystal as the S04 finished a bit sweet.

I agree with Matt. But with less than 5% crystal you should be OK. S04 usually attenuates reasonably well for me and I've used it with Nelson before - turned out very nice. What temp did you mash at ?
Interested to see how this turns out, combining challenger with Nelson. I love Nelson and have had it in 5/6 of my Pale Ales/ IPA's, but only as long as there are other fruity hops. I have only ever brewed it with NZ/US hops. I'm not a fan of single hop Nelson beers (though it's true I've only had commercial examples).

hi killer this was a biab recipie and mashed at 66 degrees , by the way put this into fv at 4 oclock and its bubbling already

Green Bullet is an awesome hop pairing for Nelson Sauvin.
