Adjusting recipe size

Post by lindsay » Thu Jan 09, 2014 1:12 am

Hi
If I wanted to adjust a all grain recipe from 23 ltrs to 40 ltrs how would I go about that.
For example
Hop back Summer lightning from GW book 23 ltr recipe.

Pale malt 4990g
Challenger hops 46g start of boil
Golding hops 15g last 10 mins
Golding hops 9g post boil
Irish moss 3G last 10 mins of boil
Total liquor 33.3 ltrs
I sachet of so4 yeast

Thanks

Lindsay

Devide your ingredient amounts (4990g, 9g) by 23 then multiply by 40.
I'm just here for the beer.
