Out of interest, Dave, why are you using lager malt in a porter?

It's not actually lager malt, it's Muntons 'Very Extra Pale' malt, and I'm using it because I've got 25kg to use.Dave S wrote:Out of interest, Dave, why are you using lager malt in a porter?

I get my base malt from a local brewery at cost price so get what they've got available at the time.
