Going to brew this tomorrow, what do ya reckon?
Going down to Port Issac with the family and 'rents (so down with the kids) for a bit this summer and Dad has requested a summer session ale to bring along to get us through! Don't worry, will leave room for lots of local beers too!

Re: Sundowner
Looks good to me - that's the kind of session ale I love.
WLP002 is a great yeast for the style as well.

That's right up my street too. Two malts, one hop, session strength. Lubbly.
Beer doesn't have to be complicated.

Thanks very much guys, it a all went to plan, apart from a boil over! That's what you get when you decide to work from home and look after the kids and sneak a brew in, it was like the boss was watching!
Can't wait to try a pint (or 3)!

So the beer went down really well, very easy to drink with slight caramel and slight tropical fruit flavours. Good goldings aroma too. Am going to make it again tomorrow but maybe up the malt to 4kg and crystal to 400g, will up the EKG slightly to match..
