Could somebody please look over the following recipe and let me know if they would make any changes:
4.2kg Maris Otter
50g Fuggles 5.5% 60 mins
25g Styrian Goldings (Savinjski) 3.4% 15 mins
30g Styrian Goldings (Savinjski) 3.4% At turn off
20g Styrian Goldings (Savinjski) 3.4% Dry hopped
Wyeast 1728 - Scottish Ale yeast (all I have got in stock and needs using up)
For 21L it comes out around 4.3% ABV and 34 IBU.
Any changes or suggestions most welcome. I have got a lot of other hops in stock if you would add anything else.

Re: Another Styrian Recipe
Bump.
So, didja brew it? And if so, how'd it turn out?
I like the look of it too. Nice biscuity malt, woodsy and flowery hops, phenomenal yeast choice, great ABV and IBU strengths...
A nice looking less-is-more approach as is, but I might suggest just a little malt complexity. Perhaps a handful of CaraMalt candy sweetness or porridge oats for head retention and lace?

Hi Seymour
Yes I brewed it and bottled/mini kegged it this weekend. it tasted OK out of the fermenter but we will see what it is like in a few weeks. I will report back.
On the recipe, I decided to throw in 200g of wheat malt for some head retention. The rest remains the same.

Sounds tasty to me too, a bit like Deuchars IPA maybe?
I'm working on a recipe with MO, Crystal and Wheat Malt, with Fuggles, Styrian Golding and Willamette hops.
Look forward to hearing how it tastes
