What is your favourite Brown Ale recipe?
My question is that simple:
What is your favourite Brown Ale recipe? Tips, tricks, things to avoid? Is there a best way to dispense it?
Cheers!

I love Cumbrian double brown. Only change I make is to add dark candi sugar instead of corn sugar.

Re: What is your favourite Brown Ale recipe?
Good timing Seymour I am planning to brew an american brown next week and a maple and pecan brown.
Planning to use jamil american brown recipe as the base for both, but hopefully will get some inspiration from this thread.

Re: What is your favourite Brown Ale recipe?
When I brewed it last time, I did two thirds american brown and the remaining third the base without the american hops. The american brown sadly got infected but the third without the aroma hops is yummy!
Planning to stop brewing milds and do browns instead as they have a bit more malty goodness going on.

Re: What is your favourite Brown Ale recipe?
This turned out really nice, although left some family members very drunk as you can't tell it's fairly strong. Janet's Brown Ale
