The Hand of Doom Brewery and Meadery
Fermenting -
Conditioning - Meads - Raspberry Melomel yeast test, Vanilla Cinnamon Metheglyn, Orange Melomel.
Drinking - Youngs AAA Kit; Leatherwood Traditional Mead, Cyser, Ginger Metheglyn.
Planning - Some kits until I can get back to AG, then a hoppy porter, Jim's ESB, some American Red.

ESB for me too!

I shall be pushing to include amber malt in the recipe as I want to use some up :o

ok so there have been a mass voing for ESb, not so many ( if any) for IPA.
Do we really need to wait til tomorrow before we look at the next step?

if we are lucky we can land this by new years day and maybe start the brewing:)

Would people prefer to go for an simple Base Malt/Crystal of a classic ESB or something a little more fancy ?

DJ(2) : N'otin....
In the Keg : Nada
Conditioning : Nowt
In the bottle : Cinnamonator TC, Apple Boost Cider, Apple & Strawberry Cider
Planning : AG #5 - Galaxy Pale (re-brew) / #6 - Alco-Brau (Special Brew Clone) / #7 Something belgian...
Projects : Mini-brew (12l brew length kit) nearly ready :D

I like the idea of some amber or something else distinctly British in it.

Although... Crisp or Fawcett amber malt - they're very different!
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Shoot me down by all means, but if we want something special could we start with Mild ale malt? A teeny bit darker and more dextrinous than your regular MO.
