My First SMaSH IPA

So, have 25KG of Maris Otter that was going cheap and a load of hops sitting in the freezer (they were also going cheap :P):
Herkules
Topaz
Sterling
Agnus

Some random hops there I know, but they were £1 a pack! I was thinking of doing some experimental 1 gallon batches, probably using the Topaz?

Try the Sterling, I did a single hop brew with this and it was superb, I'm making it again soon. I think I added a bit of wheat malt and orange peel for the last 15 as well though so not a true SMaSH.

Let me know if you want the recipe.

Yeah if you wouldnt mind, that would be great. Think I messed up the first batch anyway, I usually do 5 gallon batches but for experimentation I have been trying 1 gallon biabs, only problem is I think the bag that I made has leached some dye or something into the beer :/ I guess time will tell, in the mena time I will order some more suitable material....

No problems, I'll post it next week as I'm off on holiday this afternoon. When were you planning to brew? I also do BIAB so recipe should suit you perfectly.

CustomBIAB made great bags but I think they shutdown a few weeks ago!

There's no rush, I dont really have a time when im going to do it I plan on experimenting quite a bit with the 1 gallon batches, to get an idea of what I want to make 5 gallon for my new shiny kegs.
