I have just got a 100g pack of lemondrop hops and was wondering if anyone had used them or have a good recipe.

Hi,

I actually brewed a lager with lemon drop in about 3 weeks ago. It's still fermenting at the moment so a bit early to report back but will do as soon as I can have a taste.

Recipe as below

Mash Ingredients
3.00 kg Vienna Malt (6.9 EBC) Grain 1 60.0 %
2.00 kg Lager Malt (3.9 EBC) Grain 2 40.0 %

Boil Ingredients
25.00 g Hallertauer Hersbrucker [4.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 3 12.4 IBUs
25.00 g lemon Drop [4.40 %] - Boil 30.0 min Hop 4 10.5 IBUs
25.00 g lemon Drop [4.40 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 5 2.7 IBUs

Steeped Hops
25.00 g lemon Drop [4.40 %] - Steep/Whirlpool 15.0 min Hop 6 3.4 IBUs

Fermented with Yeast Bay Hessian pils yeast, 1l starter

Dry Hop
25.00 g lemon Drop [4.40 %] - Dry Hop 5.0 Days
