Just wondered if anyone has tried to clone this beer?
SWMBO really likes it, so I'd like to try and brew something similar for her and would appreciate any tips.
Cheers

Re: Adnams Spindrift recipe ideas?
Can't help much sorry, never even drunk it, but this is the rate beer commercial description, as a starter...
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer is made from a blend of East Anglian malted barley, Boadicea and First Gold hops and high grade malted wheat which is then filtered to allow the aromas and flavours within the beer to remain. Spindrift is top-fermented and it should be served chilled with a thick, continental-style head. (Contains barley & wheat).

Cheers Clibit
That's about as much as I could find out and luckily I have got both of those hops in my freezer.
I've got some Pilsner and Munich 1 malt to use up and plenty of wheat malt, so will codge together a pale user upper malt base and then use a mixture of First Gold and Boadicea whilst keeping the IBU'S low, but making sure the flavour and aroma is adequate.
Cheers

Sounds like there's a decent chunk of wheat. Seymour often shows up with a recipe.

Kegman's post about Adnams recipe's is a good start viewtopic.php?f=5&t=52921
For the Spindrift its just pale malt and wheat with boadicea and first gold hops. I made a batch a few years back but changed computers since and cant find my notes. I do remember buying Tipple malt as i did the Adnams distillery tour and spotted the sacks of tipple in their yard.
I've recently bought a grainfather and this is on my list to make again, along with a crack at their Mosaic Pale.

I really like this beer. I'd go quite heavy on the wheat. You can really taste it in there.
