From my copy of the book, the page you've screenshot isn't the mini mash instructions, that's the extract bit (although it does mention steeping some crystal). The mini mash and all grain notes are at the end of each recipe in a brown box like an afterthought (attached).

Not sure about the American sugar ingredients though.

Just getting back int this after a while away. Yep, i can see the brown box at the bottom, its just a bit confusing but worth it when i have it sorted out.

Any thoughts on the ingredients or indeed a UK substitute available in the UK?
