Has anyone come up with a clone of what I think is a superb beer?
When it was first brewed by Tom Fozzard as a homebrew I believe he put a mammoth 450g of Citra in a 5 gallon brew but when he and his brother Ol bought the Rooster brewery they had to tone this hop bill back - understandably, to make it more viable. Word was they tweaked the grain bill by adding a touch of Munich and shifted the hopping to very late plus more in the dry hop addition.
When I contacted Rooster some 18 months ago however they made no mention of Munich - only a lot of Pale plus a bit of wheat for head retention. Citra is still the go-to hop though.
Anyone had a go?
