Post by Tomo » Tue Aug 25, 2020 11:13 am

Hi guys just a quick one , could anyone formulate a goose island clone recipe for me , had my first taste of one last weekend and really enjoyed a lot. I am an extract brewer as I have no were near got enough space to go full grain, but I do like to do partial mash have been brewing now for forty years and just love making beer. As I said I love this beer but at £5 - 60 a pint ( was on drought) I would love to brew my own, can't find much info on the net about hops used or hop schedules. So cheers guys would really appreciate your help on this one. Hoppy brewing 👍👍🍻🍻. Tomo

Goose Island is a brewery, do you know which particular beer it was?

Hi 4oob4r, sorry forgot to mention the name, it is the goose island IPA I KNOW THE HOPS USED ARE PILGRIM, CELEIA,CASCADE, AND, CENTENNIAL, malts 2row, Bon, Munich, c20.. Haven't a clue about hop schedule but guessing pilgrim for bittering would really like a DMA WITH A PARTIAL MASH IF YOU COULD PLEASE, can mash up to couple of kilos of grain no problem. Thanks so much for your interest I really appreciate your help , cheers, hoppy brewing 🍻🍻👍
