We're testing if the difference can be discerned between the same recipe brewed on an all-in-one system and with minimal equipment. The president of the local homebrew club brewed on an Anvil foundry, using a wort chiller, a stainless steel fermenter in a temperature controlled environment, and kegging. While I'm brewing stovetop BIAB, no-chill, in a bucket at ambient cellar temperature and bottles.
A couple of BJCP judges will score both beers before the next meeting and then we'll do the triangle test during the meeting.
