I think that certain things I would like video of would either be not permissible or not as enjoyable if you performed them. :P

Image Dead easy, mate. Consider it good as done. I'll have it up in a couple of days or so ~ when it kicks off. And, I can assure ye; It'll be full motion, full colour, lid liftingly worth it! Image

Don't know why I've never thought to film it before!

Look Upon The Works Of Ditch In Awe, Mortals!!!

Twenty four f**king hours!!! More brain that Albert E ....!

That's #5. This is #4:

#4 should, at this incredible rate of acceleration, be Spewing like a train Tonight! Which is a bitch. Because, I doubt the sixty watt bulb in there will allow filming.

Bit of luck though, #5 will still be giving it The Future Of Yellowstone by the morning 8)

Well, I'm actually gutted to have to report; They'd both managed to run the full cycle by morning

I think I may have to look into the settings of those heaters. They've probably crept up a bit.

Why are you gutted? It means more stout to pour down your gullet. :)

Also, unreleated to this, a thread you might like: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=65371&view=unread#unread

O M F G !!!!!

I'm just knocking up a couple more out there and, as I said I would, I checked the temp' settings on the two heaters I'm using?

One's a complete cock up. No sign of a numeral left on the top face of it. I Think I just tweaked it down, judging by the direction displayed on a dead one I have here. Hope so!

But, the other type, with the temp' setting safely inside the glass? 29 F**king Centigrade!!!!!   What madness is this?!

No Wonder my kits were Braining, Spewing and, to all intents and purposes, becoming practically finished, inside twenty four hours! I was Cooking Beer!

<Pauses, to take another sip of this Gorgeous, coffee / chocolate accented pint in front of me. The one that was boiled up at 29!>

This is very interesting. I overcooked my last batch of Coopers Stout by accidentally setting the heater too high and it developed an overpowering estery banana aroma. I'm intrigued that yours doesn't seem to suffer the same problem, Ditch.

:| Widdersbel; I'm really in no position to comment, mate. You made Coopers Stout, by what ever method. I make Ditch's Stout, to my own, very deeply covered, right here, format. I've ~ I now find ~ been 'cooking' mine for months now. Never a problem.

Yes, that's precisely my point - I followed a different method and I got different results. And this is why it's interesting to me - your experience proves that high temperature alone does not kill a Coopers Stout, so if I want to work out what went wrong with mine, I need to look at other factors as well.

Well, just for the record; Today, I put one of the two FV's I'd fermented in the 'Indoor shed' into a BK. (I mentioned earlier about seeing the tiny flies. Just not easy with them. Shame to lose a FV full)

Must say, it Is great to just crack the lid. Open the tap. And have a pint gush out like an ebola victims guts! Image
